Lincoln Street Inc. is currently seeking the following:

  • IMMEDIATELY SEEKING A FULL-TIME home care provider, with a supporting and loving home for an individual in her 30s. This young lady is bright and constantly aware of her surroundings. She likes to spend her time relaxing at home and watching television or engaging in simple activities. She does use a wheelchair most of the time (she can walk short distances) so, it will be necessary to have a home which is accessible, or can be made accessible. She has a wonderful team supporting her, and would bring light to your home. The ideal provider will receive a generous tax-free salary ($45,000+), plus room & board payments, a flexible respite budget, on-going training and support.
  • IMMEDIATELY SEEKING A FULL-TIME home placement, for an older woman who needs an accessible home and patient, compassionate home providers. She is very engaging and fun but needs the consistency of a routine in her life. She will require support with her personal care needs but loves looking good and getting out into the community. The ideal provider will receive a generous tax-free salary ($35,000 annually) plus room & board payments, a flexible respite budget, on-going training & support.
  • A FULL-TIME PROVIDER for a non-verbal gentleman in his early 60s who requires personal care (bathing, changing, toileting, eating). He enjoys going for walks in the neighborhood, going out for ice cream and walking around stores in the community. The ideal provider will live in a quiet home where the individual can relax. Provider will receive a generous tax-free salary ($37,000), plus room & board payments, a flexible respite budget, on-going training and support.

Respite Provider Opportunities:

Lincoln Street Inc. is currently seeking Respite Provider(s) to support a family in the Chester/Andover area in their home. This opportunity is an hourly paid position at $18.50/hr., with shifts during the week and occasional weekends. Lincoln Street Inc. and this family are seeking people who are compassionate, patient and creative, who will enjoy spending time with a “happy go-lucky,” non- verbal young man who enjoys outdoor activities, such as hiking, walking, sledding and simply being active.

Lincoln Street Inc. is now a regional provider for the Vermont Choices for Care, Adult Family Care program and is serving individuals with medical care needs through our Vermont Comforts of Home program, a joint venture by Lincoln Street Inc and Upper Valley Services. Vermont Comforts of Home (VCOH) Home Provider/Shared living Provider

Vermont Comforts of Home (VCOH) is currently seeking individuals to open up their homes and provide support to people seeking to live in a home atmosphere while receiving the care they need.

Home providers are independent contractors who receive a generous, tax-free Difficulty of Care (DOC) stipend*, monthly room & board payments, a respite budget to manage according to their needs, and ongoing training & support. Applicants must reside in Vermont.
*Difficulty of Care (DOC) stipends vary based on levels of care, but they can range, annually, from $25,000 to $50,000+. All DOC stipends are tax-free and are paid out on a twice-monthly schedule.

Vermont Comforts of Home (VCOH) serves elders and others with physical, emotional and medical disabilities who are no longer able to live independently in their own home due to their medical care needs, but are seeking an alternative to living in a care facility. We support older people and others who need a nursing home level of care to remain in the community of their choice. We are committed to the belief that all people, regardless of their age or care needs, should have a voice in where they live and how they are supported.

We provide home support, service coordination and respite support throughout Vermont. By identifying caring, reliable Vermonters who are interested in sharing their home with someone in need of support, we are able to provide services which are individualized and specific to those we serve. As a home provider or shared living provider, you will join a team full of compassionate and caring individuals who are committed to making a difference in someone’s life.
